From assistant to foreman in the construction industry
Teemu ended up in the construction industry when he started working as an assistant on a construction site. That was the beginning of a career that has lasted over 25 years, which has taken him to a variety of positions – and eventually to the responsible role of foreman.
"I used to work as a construction assistant and that's where things started moving forward," Teemu says.
The road to Aaltovoima
The Aaltovoima story with Teemu began when a suitable job opportunity came up in his hometown. He jumped at the chance – and hasn't regretted it.
"A position opened up in the locality and I joined based on that," he says.
Teemu has been with Aaltovoima for two years now, and his role has been in construction management duties from the beginning.

"When you complete the work stages and get to see the finished result – it's rewarding," Teemu describes.

The secret to a good work ethic is simple: "I sleep well and go to the construction site with a positive attitude."
