We are looking for skilled and experienced bus drivers for our client company's upcoming, busy winter season in Lapland. Oulu will serve as their base and starting point for drives. Our client is a leading, well-known, and respected large company in the northern tourism and charter transport sector. Work begins according to the agreement in December and lasts until the end of the season, approximately until March-April.
The drives starting from Oulu are very diverse and include, among other things, wonderful Northern Lights excursions, customized charter trips, and experiential transport for tourists. In this job, you will meet international and domestic customers and offer them unforgettable, safe travel experiences. Due to the nature of the season, the work is shift work, primarily in the evenings, nights, and weekends.
What we expect from you?
As we operate in the demanding winter conditions of the north and are responsible for the safety of passengers in all situations, we expect applicants to have a strong professional background. Previous solid experience in driving heavy vehicles in winter conditions (especially on Lapland's roads) is extremely important for this position.
Additionally, we require:

A valid D driving license and professional driver's qualification (directive days completed).

Excellent proactive driving skills and the ability to control a large vehicle even in challenging weather and road conditions.

A high customer service attitude – you are part of the travelers' experience and always greet customers with a smile.

Proficiency in Finnish and/or English (other language skills are considered a great asset among an international clientele).

Good stress tolerance, flexibility, and the ability to act independently in changing situations.
