For the upcoming winter season in Rovaniemi (starting in October), we are looking for a passionate, independent, and charismatic Lead Chef (vastaava kokki) for our client’s unique experiential restaurant concept. In this role, you will not just prepare food – you will create unforgettable memories for international guests around an open fire.
As a full-time Lead Chef, you will take the main responsibility for the daily operations of the kitchen. You will ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly every day, and you will have another part-time chef assisting you in the weekly operations. You will have the opportunity to bring your vision to life right from the menu design, in addition to managing ingredient orders and shift planning. Since you will work closely in front of the customers’ eyes, you genuinely enjoy storytelling and interacting with people.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Daily management and independent operation of the kitchen, taking full ownership of the daily routines.

Working together with and guiding the part-time chef who assists you.

Menu design with deep respect for Lapland’s culinary heritage.

Experiential open-fire cooking directly in front of international guests.
